The Lakota West PTSO offers $750 scholarships in five categories, with two scholarships awarded in each category. These scholarships are intended to support graduating seniors who have plans to attend a two or four year college, vocational program, or other opportunity that will allow them to move forward along their chosen career path. Details will be shared in our Facebook group and in the weekly Firebird News emails.
Firebirds Leave a Mark - Reflect on what you have done to make Lakota West a better place. Why are you passionate about Lakota West, and how have you “left your mark”?
Firebirds Take Flight - Describe your post-high school plans and lifelong dreams. Where are you headed after Lakota West, and who has inspired your future goals? (If you include someone who inspired you, be sure to focus on how they helped shaped your goals, not just how awesome that person is.)
Firebirds Lead and/or Serve - Explain your dedication to leadership and/or community service. What acts of leadership or service have you demonstrated during high school?
Firebirds Take Risks - Describe a time when you stepped out of your comfort zone to take a risk. What did you learn from this experience?
Firebirds Reflect - Write about the impact extracurricular activities have had on your life, such as a part-time job, band, theater, athletics, clubs, or other experiences.
