Lakota West High School summer office hours are are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The main offices at Lakota West High School is closed to the public from June 26 through July 7 for general maintenance and cleaning.

Lakota's Summer School office will be open during this time and available to assist with summer programming questions. The summer school office  hours will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is located at:

Note that the summer school office will be closed July 3rd and 4th.

Below are some important dates to keep in mind!

Session Dates and Times
Original and Credit Recovery
May 30th through July 7th with no classes on July 3rd & 4th.
Session A: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Session B: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Session C: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Physical Education 
Session 1: May 30th through June 16th
AM is 7 a.m. - 11:20 a.m.
PM is 12 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.
Session 2: June 19 - July 7 with no classes on July 3rd & 4th.
AM is 8 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Math Bridge Courses
Bridge to Adv 7 Math is May 30th through June 16th
8am - 12pm daily

Bridge to Algebra is May 30th through July 7th with no classes on July 3rd & 4th.
8 a.m. - 12 p.m. daily

Freshman Orientation at Lakota West Freshman School

August 7, 6 to 8:30 p.m. -  A through L
August 8, 6 to 8:30 p.m. -  M through Z
Pictures will be taken for portraits and IDs

Sophomore Orientation at Lakota West High School
Pictures will be taken for portraits and IDs
August 9, 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 6:30 pm (whichever session is most convenient)

Wednesday, August 16 - The first day of School is

Freshman Campus: The student day will begin at 7:15 a.m. and conclude at 2:25 p.m. Students should report to homeroom as outlined on orientation night. Schedules will be redistributed during the “0” period.  Teachers will distribute classroom supply lists (if any) on the first day of school.

Main Campus: The student day in will begin at 8:05 a.m. and conclude at 2:40 p.m. If you are a student with a “0” bell, class will begin at 7:15 a.m. Class lists will be posted on Main Street. Unless you have a “0” bell class, you will not be permitted to enter the building until 7:15 a.m. If you arrive between 7:15 and 7:50 a.m., you will not be permitted to go to your lockers or classrooms. You will remain in either the gym or the cafeteria until the 7:50 bell. Unless you have an after-school activity, we ask that all students vacate the building by 3:15 p.m.
