College Credit Plus

Lakota has partnered with several local colleges and universities, including Cincinnati State Technical and Community College; Sinclair Community College; Miami University (both main and regional campuses); and the University of Cincinnati (both main and regional campuses).

Registration for College Credit Plus opens at the same time as regular class registration and when the new Lakota High School Program of Studies is available for the following school year. Follow these steps to apply: 

1. Submit the CCP Intent to Participate Form. This form must be completed by 11:59 pm on April 1, 2025 to participate in the CCP program at any time during the 2025-2026 school year. The form must be completed by both the student and parent.
    
2. Contact selected college for information, application forms and criteria for acceptance into their CCP program. Students must go through the procedures established by the college for admission.
    
3. Submit the college transcript and ACT, SAT or Compass scores. Check with the college for required placement tests; schedule and take placement tests as necessary.
    
4. Upon receiving an acceptance letter, register for classes with the college.
    
5. Provide a copy of the schedule to the high school counselor.

Remember, it is the responsibility of the student and parents to meet all college applications and registration deadlines.
