Transportation: Arrival & Dismissal
Eligible students in grades 7-9 will receive busing if they live more than two miles from their school. Lakota does not provide busing for students in grades 10-12.
All licensed students are permitted to drive to school if they fill out a parking pass application and receive a parking permit. There is no charge for the parking passes.
Seniors and Painting Parking Spaces
As a fundraiser for our PTSO, seniors can paint their parking spaces. They will need to fill out an application and submit their design. If the design is approved, the student will be notified and the dates of painting their spot will be shared with them.
Arrival & Dismissal
Below are diagrams of both the freshman and main campus parking lots. We ask that you follow the arrows during drop-off and pick-up to keep the flow of traffic moving as safely and quickly as possible.
District Transportation Information
The role of Lakota's Transportation Department is to guarantee safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of students to and from their schools.
Over the years, the district has worked with its contracted bus service company, Petermann, to regularly review bus routes in an effort to safely transport as many students as possible within the available budget.
WE are here to help! If you have questions regarding bus route information or the transportation of your child, please contact us.
Calls are answered in the order received. Please understand that we receive a particularly high volume of calls at the start of the school year and hold/wait times may be longer than normal.
