Scott Laman
Scott Laman has recently been named as the principal of Lakota West High School. Mr. Laman served as an assistant principal from 2020-2021 and an associate principal from 2021 to August 2024. He has served the Lakota Local School District since 2015, previously as a teacher at Ridge Junior School.
Mr. Laman enjoys seeing students chase their dreams in the classroom, through extracurriculars and on the field of play. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education. He obtained his Administrative License through Findlay University.

Katherine Joseph
Kate Joseph has been in education since 2005. She served as the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) coordinator for grades 9-12, an innovation specialist and a social studies teacher. Mrs. Joseph loves getting to know students and faculty. They push her to be a better educator all around.
Mrs. Joseph graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in adolescent education in 2005 and earned her Masters Degree in educational administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2010. She is married to a Lakota educator and is the mother to three boys who keep her busy, but very connected to the the Lakota community. She loves things all things Cincinnati including the Bearcats, Bengals, and the Reds.

Austin Rhoads
Austin Rhoads joins Lakota West High School as Athletic Director, bringing extensive experience as an educator, coach, and athletic administrator with a strong focus on student-centered programming and building positive school culture. Since 2016, he has served as Athletic Director at Springboro High School, where he led strategic program development, facility enhancements, and initiatives designed to strengthen student-athlete experiences and community engagement. A recognized leader in the region, he earned the Southwest Ohio Athletic Directors Association Horizon Award for his early-career excellence in athletic administration. Prior to Springboro, Rhoads served as a teacher and junior high athletic director at Sycamore and spent several years coaching at both the high school and collegiate levels, including a previous stint as an assistant baseball coach at Lakota West. A proud Lakota West graduate and former multi-sport athlete, he holds degrees from Miami University and the University of Cincinnati and is known for his collaborative leadership style, strong relationships, and commitment to aligning athletics with the broader mission of education as he returns home to lead the Lakota West athletic program.

Lorri Stanley
Lorri Stanley is the main office receptionist at Lakota West High School. She has been working in the district since 2015, but many more years as a parent, volunteer and subbing for over twenty years. Lorri loves being able to communicate, advocate, and build bonds with students and co-workers. She is responsible for early dismissals; work permits and parking passes. Please contact her with any questions or concerns regarding these issues.

Kathryn Williams
Kathy Williams has been the office manager at Lakota West High School since December 2018. She has been with Lakota School District since 2000. She worked at Lakota West for most of those years, except for four years when she worked at Lakota Central Office in the Special Services department. Mrs. Williams enjoys working with the staff and students of Lakota West.
Freshman Campus

Nicolas Jarrell
Nicolas K. Jarrell joins Lakota West High School as Assistant Principal of West Freshman. Bringing a strong record of instructional leadership, student support, and school improvement, he most recently served as Assistant Principal at La Salle High School, where he oversaw academics, attendance, discipline, and school safety while leading key initiatives such as PBIS and MTSS implementation, chairing the Instructional Leadership Team, and founding the school’s safety committee. During his tenure, he helped improve daily attendance, strengthened student behavior systems, and advanced data-driven academic goals. Earlier in his career, he taught English at La Salle High School, designing curriculum, serving on leadership teams, and contributing to school accreditation efforts, while also coaching cross country and track and field. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Education and the University of Cincinnati with a master’s in Educational Leadership, Mr. Jarrell holds a principal license and is known for his collaborative approach, commitment to student success, and ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and families to foster a supportive and high-performing school community. Mr. Jarrell will be a welcomed addition to the Lakota West Community!
Patrick Eilerman
Officer Patrick Eilerman serves as the school resource officer for Creekside ECS and Lakota West Freshman. Officer Patrick has been with the West Chester Police Department since 2017. He works with students in many different capacities and helps teachers reinforce safety reminders. He patrols the building, is instrumental in securing our facility, supports our arrival and dismissal procedures and supports our Liberty students throughout the day.
