Advanced Placement Testing

Advanced Placement Testing

AP Testing will take place the weeks of 5/4 - 5/8 and 5/11 - 5/15. Although students do not have school on Tuesday 5/5, students are still responsible for reporting for their AP test on that day. A few important points:

  • Students testing in the morning will need to arrive at their testing location at 7:30 AM.

  • Students testing in the afternoon will need to arrive at their testing location at 11:30 AM.

  • Some afternoon exams will end after 3 PM when school releases. Students will not be allowed to leave the testing location prior to the test time ending.

The majority of AP Exams are fully digital or a hybrid format. Fully digital exams are administered completely online via a secure application that students already have on their laptop. Hybrid exams combine a section that is digital along with a section that is completed with their laptop along with a paper answer booklet. Please see below for a list of tests and their format for this school year.

IMPORTANT: Students will need to know their CollegeBoard log in information for fully digital and hybrid exams. If they do not know this information they will need to work directly with College Board to gain access to their account. If a student is unable to log into their account prior to either 8 AM or 12 PM, they will be dismissed from testing and will need to wait until the following May in order to test. PLEASE BE SURE YOUR STUDENT KNOWS THEIR LOG IN INFORMATION PRIOR TO TEST DAY.

If you have any questions about AP testing, please contact Matt Bradley (matthew.bradley@lakotaonline.com), who is the AP Coordinator.
